IDLES at Glastonbury 2024 - stage, time, setlist, clashes and more

Bristol punk rock band IDLES are familiar faces at Glastonbury - and they're back in 2024 with a prime slot on the Other Stage. The Mercury Prize-nominated group are currently riding high on the success of fifth album Tangk, which was released in February.

The band - formed of Adam Devonshire (bass), Joe Talbot (vocals), Mark Bowen (guitar), Lee Kiernan (guitar), and Jon Beavis (drums) - gathered a devoted local following with club night Bat Cave in their home city. They spent eight years honing their live performances before critically acclaimed debut album Brutalism was released in 2017.

They're currently in the midst of their Love is the Fing tour to promote Tangk, with a host of dates across Europe followed by a run of shows in the USA. Reviews to date say the setlist covers every part of their discography, perhaps offering a clue as to what's in store for Glasto-goers.

When and where?

IDLES will play Glastonbury 2024 on Friday, June 28 on the Other Stage. Current listings say that they will be on stage between 10.15 and 11.30pm - coming on after Anne-Marie and D-Bloc Europe.

Where can I watch?

The BBC will this year show the five main stages across iPlayer, as well as on BBC One and Two at various points of the weekend. On iPlayer, fans can find continuous live streams from the Pyramid, Other, West Holts, Park and Woodsies stages.
