I'm A Celeb 2016: Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt is crowned Queen of the Jungle

Wow. What a series this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here has been. There was only one person ever really in the running for taking the jungle crown, and that was the gorgeous, hilarious little cherub that is Scarlett Moffatt.

The Gogglebox star is a self-confessed I’m a Celeb junkie and has watched the show since she was ’10 year auld’ – as Ant was so fond of saying – so it was only right for her to be crowned champion.

In the three weeks she’s been in the jungle, Scarlett has faced up to her fears and told Ant and Dec she was leaving camp a much more confident person.

She even faced her biggest fear in her last bush tucker trial of the series and was shut into a small space – with only rats and roaches for company.

Scarlett bust into tears as she was announced the winner – and given a standing ovation by her fellow campmates – all of whom had nothing but nice things to say about the new queen.

Comedian Joel Dommett took the runner-up slot after a huge surge of votes for him during tonight’s show where we saw him tuck into a goat’s penis amongst other yummy stuff.

He had Twitter LOL-ing all over the show after doing an incredible impression of Ant with a pair of fish eyes.

Emmerdale star Adam Thomas came in third place.

So that’s it for another year and it’s been wonderful. I’m a Celeb is the show that can just do no wrong.

Well done, Scarlett – a true Queen.
