I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! favourite Frankie Bridge has come third in a shock result for the ITV reality show.

The 32-year-old Loose Women presenter and former Saturdays singer - who has two sons with ex-England footballer Wayne Bridge - said she was very "happy" to be a runner-up, as she most wanted to beat her husband, who came fifth on the show in 2016.

Bridge said: "I did it. We can have a long and happy marriage now."

The former popstar has spoken publicly in the past about her battle with depression and anxiety and said of her experience on the show: "I really like to push myself and do things out of my comfort zone. And being quite a naturally anxious person I wanted to prove myself wrong and show other anxious people you can do it."

Bridge was left in tears after a row with music producer Naughty Boy during her time in the camp in Gwrych Castle in north Wales.

She said: "I knew I d be scared of everything in here but I didn't realise how hard everyday camp life would be."

And of being the last woman in the castle for the last few days since BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin was voted out on Thursday Bridge said: "I've got a house full of boys, I'm used to it. But all the farting! It was a lot."

Bridge - who is mother to Parker, eight, and six-year-old Carter - made the final of the ITV reality show, along with Coronation Street star Simon Gregson and Emmerdale star Danny Miller.

She admitted she was filled with pride after enduring being locked in a tomb full of snakes for her final Bushtucker Trial.

Bridge said while lying in a tomb in the pitch darkness with over 50 snakes crawling over her body and face: "My body's never been so tense in all its life."

Afterwards the singer and TV presenter, who admitted has a fear of confined spaces, said: "Even just putting the lid on was awful. I can't believe I've done it. I really wanted to do an animal one so I'm really proud."

Even hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly admitted her trial had been "hardcore".

Coronation Street star Simon Gregson ate cow's vagina, along with sheep's penis, goat tongue and pig's eye for his last trial.

The 47-year-old actor exclaimed "Yowzers!" at being confronted with what he had to eat, but managed to chew them all and eat them to win five stars for the finalists' last supper.

Ant and Dec joked that if he finished everything on the plate, "You'll have eaten a farmyard."

The Geordie duo then began singing, “Steve McDonald ate a farm...” to the tune of Old MacDonald.

Emmerdale star Danny Miller spent 10 minutes locked in a helmet which was gradually filled up with a variety of insects including maggots, witchetty grubs, crickets, cockroaches and scorpions.

The 30-year-old actor admitted it was his "worst" trial so far as he spat bugs from his mouth and struggled to breathe.
