Jessica Plummer avoided being filmed while taking showers in the I'm A Celebrity castle simply by taking all of her clothes off.

While some opted for swimming costumes as they washed themselves in a rusty tub with a shower curtain, the EastEnders actor wanted to avoid being captured.

The programme’s famous shower scenes in previous series includes Myleene Klass' iconic white bikini moment.

"Just get naked and have your shower and don’t worry, they cannot show it," she told The Sun. "Every time I went in the shower I just took off all my clothes.

"When you’re cold and you’ve got a swimming costume clinging on to you, it makes you feel colder.

"So I was like, ‘Sod this, they’re not going to put my naked bottom on the show, I’m just going to take it all off’. And then the cameras just went ‘zoom’ and they then turned away and I was like, ‘Perfect. Every time!’"

The publication reports Plummer's plan meant she was one shown only once, with her body covered by the curtain.

In previous series set in the Australian jungle the stars haven't had a shower curtain to protect their modesty as they washed out in the open under a waterfall.

Presenter and former model Lisa Snowdon recently shared she felt "pressured" to strip off when she competed on the show in 2016.

She said that herself and some of her fellow female contestants put off showering until they were “reeking” because they knew they would be filmed in the camp’s waterfall for the well-known “shower shot”.

Plummer was eliminated from the competition alongside Russell Watson on Tuesday's episode.

There are now just four celebs left in the competition ahead of Fridays finale; Giovanna Fletcher, Shane Richie, Vernon Kay and Jordan North.
