I'm A Celebrity 2023: Josie Gibson greets Nigel Farage with hilarious Brexit joke
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly reunite to host the ITV jungle show
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here has got underway as the famous faces have touched down in Australia for the show.
Off to a tough start, Nigel Farage was left stranded in the Australian outback alongside fellow stars Josie Gibson and Nella Rose. It was scorching hot and all they could see was the red desert surrounding them.
Minutes after meeting, Gibson couldn't resist making a cheeky joke when she met Nigel Farage.
Farage said: "It wasn't gonna be easy." To which Gibson responded: "It can't be any worse than Brexit."
Clearly amused, a laughing Farage said: "Didn't take long did it? Didn't take long. I had a feeling we'd get a bit of that!"
Social media went wild over the moment - with one fan writing: "His first encounter with Josie was hilarious. She told him being in the outback was worse than Brexit."
"Josie - my winner already - to Farage, 'can't be worse than Brexit' IMMEDIATELY."
"Josie saying 'Can't be worse than Brexit' to Farage moments after meeting him is absolute icon behaviour."
"Josie to Nigel Farage... killing it Jose!"
Farage has been an unpopular signing but how will the rest of camp get along with him? Already Farage has sparked a hilarious reaction from his campmate Sam Thompson.
But Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly were getting the jokes in early as they introduced the line up.
Donnelly said: "Now Nigel is not just known for his controversial political career, he's got his own show on GB News...
"We would like to apologise to all of the GB News viewers."
The cheeky presenters joked "sorry Keith, sorry Linda", implying only a few viewers would be missing Farage during his jungle stint.
