'I'm A Celebrity' viewers applaud Ant and Dec for Boris Johnson 'partygate' jibes
I’m A Celebrity viewers have said they loved seeing hosts Ant and Dec “ripping into Boris Johnson” over the Christmas party scandal.
There has been a backlash over claims that a party was held at Downing Street last year when London was subject to strict COVID rules, which has been denied.
Presenters Ant and Dec couldn’t resist a little dig about the situation during Wednesday night’s instalment of the ITV show.

They took aim at Johnson when the campers decided to keep the truth about the Castle Coin Challenge from David Ginola.
Ant referred to the fact that the campers had decided to “cover it up” and Dec quipped: “That’s not a very good idea is it?”
“If we’ve learned one thing in the last 24 hours, it’s that you can’t get away with covering things up,” Ant said.
They then joked that the situation was clear and that “even Ant and Dec are ahead of the Prime Minister…sorry... Danny Miller”.
Fans were thoroughly amused by the jibes.
One tweeted: “Ant & Dec on #ImACeleb talking about the Prime Minister is perfection. And I’m here for it. #partygate."
"Really Love it When @antanddec Proper Ripping into @BorisJohnson," said another.
