I'm a Celebrity 2023 live: Sam Thompson crowned winner of jungle show
Ant & Dec will be on hand to crown another winner on the ITV reality show.
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2023 has crowned Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson King of the Jungle.
The reality star was voted the winner by viewers out of the 12 celebrities who entered the jungle this year, and winning against Brexit pioneer Nigel Farage and retired boxer Tony Bellew in an all-male final.
I'm A Celebrity superfan Thompson told hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly: "Oh my God [I feel] really overwhelmed. I didn't even think i was going to be invited on this show let along win it. I don't know what to say."
The reality star told the viewers who voted for him: "I'm so grateful thank you so much, I've dreamt of doing this show for years and years and you've just made a boy's dream come true."
Boxer Bellew was placed second and politician Farage was third runner-up.
The former MEP told Ant and Dec: "I threw myself into it, I did not show any fear at all. I gave you nothing."
Of coming third he said: "I'm not surprised. I'm thrilled. Not everyone likes the stuff I have campaigned for, but we're all entitled to our opinion and hopefully this has shown I'm as human as everybody. There are things I'm good at, things I'm bad at. I've mucked in. If you asked me would I do it again, to be honest I think I would."
Farage said of the arguments he'd been involved in in camp: "I never raised one political debate the whole time I was in there. Others did with me, I had proper debates, no screaming arguments, Fred wanted to have screaming arguments with me, but I had not big fall outs and if the public have voted me number three, so be it."

What makes an I'm A Celebrity winner?
Entertainment and TV PR Lynn Carratt has shared the qualities that make an I'm A Celebrity winner in the jungle camp. She told Yahoo News: "Winning I'm a Celebrity is first and foremost about how the personality of each campmate connects with the viewing public. It's a TV programme, so the celeb must be entertaining and a team player.
"A good backstory also helps win the audience over, but most importantly, they have to be relatable to the viewing public. The audience wants to watch someone they could go down to the pub for a drink with. On the show, we see each celebrity warts and all, and any mask they attempt to wear inevitably slips and turns the audience off, so it's vital for them just to be themselves and that will win over the public."
