Owen Warner smashes Chris Moyles' record with a spanner in tonight's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, before making an obvious joke at his own expense.

In Monday's episode, it is the Hollyoaks actor's turn to take on a trial solo in Boiling Point and the first room he has to enter to win stars is the same one where Moyles struggled to work out how to use a spanner last week, earning just two stars and then dropping one of them.

But Warner, despite being mocked for his lack of general knowledge in camp, shows he is far superior when it comes to DIY skills as he has none of the problems Moyles suffered in a first look clip of the trial.

Host Ant McPartlin tells him: "You're looking for spanners first, remember - where are the spanners?"

As Warner quickly unscrews a star in seconds, he continues: "Good speed that, good speed."

Co-host Declan Donnelly agrees: "That's not his first rodeo with a spanner."

McPartlin asks: "You've used a spanner before, haven't you Owen?"

A quick-witted Warner replies: "I get called one enough times."

Radio DJ Moyles has been enjoying a joke at Warner's expense since the ITV series started, convincing the actor that he is a world champion ballroom dancer.

However, it looks as though Warner will manage to turn the tables on Moyles by breezing through the same task which defeated the DJ last week.

As he fumbled with the spanner in his challenge in the same room, Ant and Dec were forced to talk him through the basics of how it worked.

McPartlin told him: "Chris, hold the star with one hand and move the spanner with the other hand."

He then added: "Clearly does not do any DIY round his own house."

In Sunday's episode, campmates were given some emotional letters from home to spur them on into the final week of the contest.

They included a letter from Zara Phillips to husband Mike Tindall, while Matt Hancock received a message from partner Gina Coladangelo, who he was caught having an affair with during lockdown.

I'm A Celebrity airs the full trial tonight at 9.15pm on ITV.
