Grace Dent has quit I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here on medical grounds.

Viewers expressed their concern for the food critic on social media over the weekend over her appearance.

The TV star had confided in Josie Gibson that she was ready to leave camp, saying: "I've had enough... I want to go home."

Also on Friday the star had to have a cockroach taken out of her ear by a medic on stand following a Bushtucker trial.

It was revealed on Sunday that she had been voted to do her fourth trial - but she quit before the trial took place. Danielle Harold stands in for her on the show.

ITV confirmed her exit in a statement: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."

Here are the other stars who have pulled out of I'm A Celebrity early...

Attwood was lined up for the show last year but was forced to quit for medical reasons.

The Love Islander had to wave goodbye after just 24 hours, with a medical issue ruling her out of competing, and said on Instagram that she was “heartbroken”.

She later told the Mail on Sunday that she was pulled out after a blood test showed that she was anaemic.

Attwood was taken to hospital and admitted that as she travelled there she “didn't know what to think”.

“I was wondering if I had picked up a virus, was I pregnant, all of these things were going through my head,” she said. “It was absolutely frightening.”

The star was re-tested and thankfully was fine, but her I’m A Celebrity journey – for 2022 at least – was over.

Madeley was a fan favourite when he was on the show, but sadly his stint was short-lived.

The Good Morning Britain star took part in 2021, one of the series that was based at Gwrych Castle in Wales instead of Australia because of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, he left after four days.

The star exited the castle camp to be checked out after feeling unwell, but because there were restrictions at the time it meant he had broken the COVID bubble and couldn’t go back in.

Posting on Instagram after he left, the TV star said although his time on the show was brief it had been “unforgettable”.

"Obviously I’m gutted to be leaving so soon but the safety of all the campmates is the number one priority,” he said.

Lady C was on the show in 2015 and made a splash, getting embroiled in her share of rows.

Her time was cut short when she had to leave just days before the end of the series.

At the time, ITV said in a statement: “Lady C has left the jungle on medical grounds.”

However, there were claims she decided to leave because she felt she was being bullied by some other campers.

Late comedian Starr left the jungle camp after becoming unwell following a Bushtucker Trial.

The challenge – part of the 2011 series - involved eating things like fermented egg and turkey testicles.

Starr got through it but later felt unwell and it was thought he could have suffered an allergic reaction. However, it wasn’t clear what he may have reacted to.

Davies, aka Annalise from Neighbours, was a contestant in 2005.

She hurt herself after jumping from a helicopter, suffering a suspected fractured rib.

The actor was taken to hospital and decided to return to camp after being discharged, with plans for the show’s medical team to monitor her.

However, she changed her mind as she was still having some pain and left the programme.
