The pair were forced to compete against one another in the latest Bushtucker trial, which saw Scottish MSP Kezia crawl through boxes of creatures in a political task.
Dubbed ‘The Battle For 10 Downing Creek’, Iain and Kezia had to impress their new campmates with their skills, with the other celebrities having the deciding vote on who won the task as they sat on benches resembling the House of Commons.
In a nod to Kezia’s political standing, each of the boxes were named after the contestant’s fellow politicians – including Sickola Sturgeon – which was filled with smelly fish guts.
Meanwhile, Margaret Scratcher was filled with crickets, mealworms and cockroaches, and Theresa Dismay contained spiders and toads.
After the task, the other campmates will have to vote in a jungle election, with it being speculated that the winner will form their own political party in the jungle.
Kezia previously sparked outrage for taking part in the reality show while in office, with one viewer tweeting last night: “Still think it’s (very) wrong for Kezia to jet off to Aus for 3 weeks when the parliament is sitting, esp when SNP have a minority government and she’s making money from it all.
“Won’t be supporting #TeamKez [sic]”.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues on ITV tonight at 9pm.
