A teenager who was reported missing has now been found safe and well.

Aidan Hall was last seen in the Teal Farm area of Washington at about 1.40pm on Monday, April 15. Officers and his family launched a public appeal to locate the 19-year-old after growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Northumbria Police urged anyone with information on where Aidan, from Washington, might be to get in touch. They later released a second image of him and re-appealed to the public to help trace him.

Inspector Andrew Richardson said: "A number of enquiries have been carried out so far to locate Aidan but unfortunately they have drawn a blank. With the permission of his family, we are today (Wednesday) releasing a new image of Aidan in the hope that it jogs the memories of those who may have seen him over the past couple of days."

Aidan has been found safe and well. The force has thanked everyone who shared their appeal to locate him.
