Readers have slammed an 'impatient' driver who got 'stuck' after trying to 'dodge traffic' in Coventry. It happened on Hinckley Road in Walsgrave.

Police were called at around 8.20am on Wednesday (April 10). Officers found that the Mercedes-Benz driver attempted to 'avoid traffic' by turning around and crossing a grassed central reservation on Hinckley Road.

It was at this point that they were said to have got 'stuck.' A van driver stepped in to help and pulled the vehicle off the grassed area with a tow rope, said Henley and Longford Police.
