Indian Emergency Crews Clear Downed Trees as Deadly Cyclone Remal Makes Impact

Emergency crews cleared roads as Cyclone Remal impacted West Bengal, India, on May 26, footage here shows.

The storm made landfall between Bangladesh and West Bengal on Sunday evening, the Times of India reported.

More than 100,000 were evacuated from vulnerable areas in West Bengal, the report said.

At least two people were killed in the state, the Hindustan Times reported. Another 10 were killed in neighboring Bangladesh, the report said.
