Last night’s festive cooking show, Mary Berry’s Christmas Party, found her inviting a handful of celebrity guests, notably BBC newsreader Huw Edwards, over to her house for some mulled wine, and, it turns out, steamy chat.
“Every night at 10 I make sure I’m in bed to watch Huw so I’m thrilled he’s here, I’m sure I can teach him a thing or two,” said Berry, 83, on introducing him.
Then during Huw’s segment, she gripped his bicep, as the pair piped mashed potato into mini sausages.
“[I’ve got] huge muscles. Feel that there,” he said, offering up his arm for her to squeeze.
“Ooh, it’s very hard,” she replied, before Huw referred to her as ‘the mistress’ of the kitchen.
Twitter, of course, went WILD at the flirting.
