Inside Stacey Solomon's dreamy pool house reveal and family updates at Essex home

Stacey Solomon has shared her joy over the new "dream" addition to her £1.2 million Essex home known as Pickle Cottage.

The star gushed about the residences' lavish outdoor swimming pool amidst soaring temperatures the country is currently experiencing, reports the Manchester Evening News. The star also told followers of something that her "super nervous" daughter has finally overcome.

Stacey and her family - which includes husband Joe Swash and their sizable brood Rex, four Rose, two, Belle, one, plus two sons from a past relationship Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11 - have certainly been making the most out of the beautiful weather in their rural retreat.

Some DIY sessions saw Stacey devoting an entire week to tidying up her garden. She went on to arrange the stylish lounge seats and a table for what she labelled as the kids' "first pool day of 2024."

In an Instagram post, she let followers have a peek at their massive pool set within a thicket of trees for seclusion. Clearly thrilled with the result, Stacey posted: "Sooooo happy I spent all week cleaning out here because it's FINALLY hot! Hello summer."

As part of the tour, Solomon also introduced fans to the stunning pool house, something she mentioned has been a long-term project in the works.

Stacey said: "This took us three years to get to this point. It's mostly micro cement and arches because I have an unhealthy obsession with them. I learned to micro cement from @relentlessmicrocement and Agi taught me to build arches. BEST DIY skills I've ever learned!"

She also didn't hesitate to share her joy regarding their personal wood-fired pizza oven, which has been a longtime dream of hers. "I've always wanted one," confessed Stacey, pointing to the comfy brown sofa located next to it and writing: "This sofa is one I designed for @scssofas. So proud Can't believe they're actually in store now @ SCS said people love them which is the BEST feeling."

What excites Stacey the most, however, is watching her kids revel in this luxurious space especially now that the weather allows for some outdoor fun. Proud mum Stacey used Instagram Stories to capture toddler Rose, donning a cute swimsuit, making progress with her swimming lessons.

Sharing a clip where she can be seen enjoying the water with Rose, Stacey wrote: "Rose is doing so well [face holding back tears emoji]. She's super nervous of the water so we were so excited she just went for it today."

Stacey Solomon, 34, couldn't resist involving her adorable ducklings in the family's pool preparations. She shared a charming video on Instagram to her 5.9 million followers, showing the ducklings taking their first dips in the pool.

The 'Sort Your Life Out' presenter captured the moment before any chemicals were added for cleaning, much to the apparent chagrin of her fiance Joe Swash. Stacey captioned her post: "It's their pool now. We let the ducks have the first swims in the pool before we put the chemicals in and clean it.

"Hope this brightens up your feed today... I could watch them play all day it's so beautiful. Joe's fumin' the ducks get better poolside snack and drink service than him."
