Target Employee Secures Doors in Delaware Store Amid 'Intense' Thunderstorm
Employees at a Target in Newark, Delaware, were forced to lock the doors as hail carried by an intense thunderstorm was coming inside the building on Monday, April 15, according to a witness.
Footage here, captured by Ronald Topor, shows hail and rain pouring in the building through the entrance doors as an employee rushes to secure them.
“The most intense thunderstorm I’ve ever seen in the area. Target had to lock up the doors for the safety of customers. Large hail was coming inside sideways due to extreme winds,” Topor told Storyful.
A weather alert for hail and wind was issued by the National Weather Service for the area on Monday. Credit: Ronald Topor via Storyful
