INTERNATIONAL biking business Giant has opened its first Dorset store.

Cycle Paths in Poole has undergone an extensive refit as part of the store rebrand to Giant after 20 years of trading independently.

After a wealthy investment and refreshed refit, the Cycle Paths store at The Dolphin has now expanded onto a second floor, doubling the store's retail space.

Matt Banks, director at Giant Poole, said: “This is such an exciting time for our team, having all our hard work recognised by such a prestigious brand in the industry is truly something worth celebrating.

“Our previous owners should be proud of running such a successful family business, as this is what has led to this incredible opportunity to expand, diversify, and enhance our offering.”

John Grinnell, centre manager of The Dolphin Poole, added: “We are so proud of all that Cycle Paths has achieved over its last 20 years of business and this fantastic opportunity has secured the store’s future for another 20 years and beyond.

“At The Dolphin Poole, we are continuing to attract heavyweight national and international brands to Poole town centre, while we nurture our local businesses and entrepreneurs who call us home in Kingland.

“This is what makes Poole such a diverse place to shop, eat, work and learn.”
