The All-Ireland SFC semi-final pairing have been confirmed following today’s results at Croke Park. Armagh will take on Kerry while Ulster champions Donegal will face Galway in the last four.

A draw for the semi-final wasn’t needed after Donegal defeated Louth 1-23 to 0-18 in the third quarter-final with Eoghan Ban Gallagher scoring the game’s only goal.

As Armagh have already played both Galway and Donegal, the Orchard County will face the Kingdom in the last four. The Orchard County were the first team to book their place in the last four with a 2-12 to 0-12 win over Roscommon on Saturday afternoon.

Goals in either half from Clann Éireann clubmates Barry McCambridge and Conor Turbitt put the game beyond doubt while Roscommon lost midfielder Ruaidhrí Fallon to a second booking in the first half.

The race for the Sam Maguire Cup was then blown wide open as Galway stunned defending All-Ireland champions Dublin.

Substitute Tomo Culhane kicked what proved to be the winning point for the Tribesmen as they defeated the Dubs 0-17 to 0-16 with Con O’Callaghan missing a late chance to force extra-time.

In the fourth and final quarter-final saw Kerry get the better of Derry 0-15 to 0-10. The sides were level at 0-6 each after an extremely cagey first half and the quality didn’t improve much in the second half.

However, much like Roscommon on Saturday, Derry appeared to run out of gas as the Kingdom booked their place in the last four.

The semi-finals will be played at Croke Park on Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14.

The Tailteann Cup final between Down and Laois will act as the curtain-raiser to the Saturday semi-final with the fixtures set to be confirmed by the CCCC tomorrow morning.
