Islamic University of Gaza Targeted in Israeli Airstrike

Israel said it carried out an airstrike on the Islamic University of Gaza on October 11, saying it had served as a
“training institution for the development and production of weapons.”

Israel’s air force tweeted, “The Air Force recently attacked the Islamic University in Gaza City, which serves as a major training center for Hamas engineers.”

Footage of the strike was published by the Israel Defense Forces.

The death toll from the Hamas attack on Israel rose to 1,200 on Wednesday, the Times of Israel reported.
