The ability dogs are more than companions — they provide essential practical assistance, increase independence, and offer emotional stability.

Education, employment and social interactions are all made possible thanks to an ability dog.

The charity supports people with a range of disabilities, including autism, anxiety, depression, diabetes, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy and the ability dogs are trained to meet their individual needs.

Since founding Ability Dogs 4 Young People in 2012, Carol has been driven by her passion for making a difference in the lives of disabled people.

Carol Court said: "I was thrilled to learn that Ability Dogs 4 Young People would be featured on the BBC One Show!

"It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to showcase how our Ability Dogs change lives and to highlight the dedication of everyone who makes it possible.
