Isle of Wight man charged with supermarket theft to appear before magistrates

POLICE have named a man arrested and charged with shoplifting from a Co-op store on the Isle of Wight.

Terence Wayne Perkins, of Culver Parade, Sandown, has been charged with shop theft, in Sandown, on Sunday, June 30.

The alleged offence took place at 7.15pm that day in Sandown High Street, with the 39-year-old accused of stealing £13 worth of food and drink items.

He will attend Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 16.
