Italian cars come to Surrey in incredible display with Ferraris, Maseratis and Alfa Romeo

Petrolheads won’t want to miss seeing a fleet of Italian cars including Lamborghini, Maserati and Ferrari congregating at Brooklands this weekend. The museum holds regular themed car meet-ups, where anyone can come along and marvel at the incredible vehicles on display.

Flashy new supercars to elegant vintage Fiat 500s and Vespas that look like they should be on the roads of the Italian Riviera will be there. Retro Lancias and pastel-coloured Nissan Figaros could also make a special appearance at the car show.

Hosted by Brooklands Museum and Mercedes Benz World on Saturday, May 4, visitors will experience live music, food and track demonstrations. You can even bring your own Italian car or motorcycle and join the fun.


Highlights include the F1 Benetton B190 once owned by John Reaks, it was originally raced by Nelson Piquet during the 1990 F1 world championship. It was the reigning champion in Japan and Australia, it’s set to the be centrepiece on the track demonstration at Mercedes Benz World.

There are multiple gates to enter the event, with specific points for those arriving in Italian cars for the display. Those joining the display are asked not to arrive after 9am, as roads could be congested.

The event kicks off at 10am and ends at 5pm, tickets can be purchased via the Brooklands Museum website. Tickets include free admission to the London Bus Museum, last entry into the museum is two hours before closing at Brooklands.

Adult entry tickets cost £27.20, and £11.75 for children between four and 17. For children aged four and under tickets are free, and carers also pay nothing. Tickets can be booked here.

Visiting and parking

There will be multiple entry gates open, with yellow event temporary signage. Please follow these directions rather than the brown tourist signs to the Museum.

  • Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road . Postcode for SatNav is KT13 0TA. What3words: unions.added.finishing. Entrance opens at 9am for participants and will remain open

  • Vickers Gate, off Brooklands Drive . What3Words: bossy.castle.below. Open from 9am to midday. After midday follow temporary signage to Campbell Gate entrance, off Brooklands Road.

Modern sports & supercars

Use the display parking in an annexe area at the northern area of The Heights, entry via The Heights, Wellington Way. Open from 9am to noon. After midday follow event signage to Campbell Gate entrance, off Brooklands Road.

All other visitor parking

The Heights, off Wellington Way, please follow the yellow event signage. Other parking areas will be available during the day, please follow signage.
