ITV Britian's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has shared the moment she thought she was going to get fired from her job during an episode of the show. It came as her daughter Hollie, 12, stormed the stage alongside Simon Cowell's son Eric, 10.

During Sunday's episode, the audience had a huge reaction to Japanese double dutch dancers Haribow with calls for them to get a golden buzzer to send them through to the semi-finals. But the judges had already used up their turns, leading Simon to call on Hollie and Eric to do the honours.

Amanda shared a clip on Instagram and wrote: "I mean … I thought I was going to get fired as it was so unexpected my #HRH & Eric x even @simoncowell was wobbled but they have the first ever audience GOLDEN BUZZER."

The audience chanted so loudly for the Golden Buzzer that the judges couldn't be heard even when using their microphones. Simon said: "I've never ever heard a reaction like that.

"My son is literally going crazy right now." Alesha said she had "none left" regarding the buzzers along with Tonioli, while Cowell said that he "did not know what to say" given that Ant and Dec had also used up their buzzer.

Simon then turned to Hollie and Eric in the audience and said: "You do it." After they left the stage, Simon told the audience: "I'm going to give this one to all of you."

Spencer Morgan, Piers Morgan's son, joked: "Wish kids golden buzzer was a thing when dad was a judge." Piers was an original judge of Britain's Got Talent, and appeared on the show from 2007 to 2010.

Some viewers have since accused the show of 'staging' the moment.
