Britain's Got Talent is back with a new batch of talented individuals hoping to impress the judging panel. The 2024 series will see Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli return once more alongside presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, who are fresh from the final episode of Saturday Night Takeaway.

This year, ITV bosses have promised a "record-breaking" number of golden buzzer moments, which sees contestants put straight through to the live final after impressing the judges. As always, acts taking to the Britain's Got Talent stage will be hoping to bag a life-changing £250,000 cash prize and a spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.

What's more, fans of BGT will be delighted to know that series 17 of the popular talent competition will kick off with a double bill as the first set of acts take to the stage in the hope of impressing the judges enough to progress to the semi-finals. It means ITV viewers will get to tune into the programme on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
