ITV Coronation Street star says 'it's official' as he stars in Emmerdale at same time
ITV Coronation Street's Billy Mayhew star has left fans taken aback with Emmerdale news as he appears in two soaps at once. Daniel Brocklebank made his debut in the role of the Weatherfield vicar back in 2014 but is now appearing in Classic Emmerdale on ITV.
He said: "Today Ivan Jones entered #ClassicEmmerdale… I’m now officially running in two amazing shows on @itv Here’s me at 24 and 44…" In reply, Emmerdale star Laura Norton wrote back to the Billy actor and typed: "Amazing."
And a second said: "Wow I remember that!!! Nicola tried to seduce you in that nightdress and heels." A third chimed in to say in response: "I remember it well. The love triangle between you Nicola and Paul." And another replied: "You're still handsome as well as clever being in two shows at the same time lol."

Another posted: "You look exactly the same!" @willy.whatshappeninnow gushed: "Haven't aged a day! Only grown more handsome!" And another wrote: "No way …. You’ve aged well, like a fine wine." Another then added: "I saw this today. I know straight away it was you @danielbrocklebank
"You haven't changed a bit." Daniel portrayed Ivan Jones in Emmerdale from May 2005 until August 2006, appearing in 107 episodes in total.. He joined the cast of Coronation Street in 2014 as Billy and has remained a regular on the soap ever since.
Daniel has appeared in dozens of other hit TV shows, including Waterloo Road, Midsomer Murders, The Bill, Doctors, Casualty and Holby City. He's also starred in films such as Native, Soft Lad and Admiral.
He previously spoke about joining the cast or Corrie, admitting his mum encouraged him to accept the role. Daniel said he was living in London when he got the offer, and had wanted time to think it over.
