Tina O'Brien has been seen out for the first time following a fight outside her home.

The Corrie actress - best known as Sarah Platt in the long-running soap - nipped out to run some errands.

In snaps obtained by the Mirror, she could be seen donning a black hoodie and beige Fila tracksuit bottoms as she visited a supermarket in Chesire, carrying a bunch of tulips and a shopping bag.

The TV icon kept comfy in a pair of Nike trainers, with her blonde hair swept back from her face.

She attempted to keep her head down as she made her way back to her car.

It comes after the 40-year-old reportedly stepped into a fight between two teenage girls outside her lavish £1million home in Bramhall, Stockport last month.

Footage of the incident went viral, where Tina could be seen getting physical with the teens as she is said to have desperately tried to stop the violence.

A spokesperson for Tina told the Mirror at the time: "Tina was the victim of an unprovoked incident outside her home which she has reported to the police."

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police also confirmed that they had received a report of an assault. The spokesperson said: "Officers are investigating reports of an assault in Stockport between 8pm and 9pm on 15 March."

Tina was reportedly been left "shaken" by the incident and was concerned it could hurt her TV career.

A source previously told The Sun: "Tina went straight to meet her Corrie bosses this morning... She told them she was the victim here, and they have accepted that. They also think the incident has traumatised her so have been very sympathetic."

The actress was later praised by one of the parents of the two teenagers who were brawling outside her house.

The mother revealed that she was thankful that Tina defended her daughter from the other teenager.

The mother also shared her view that her daughter being involved in a fight is greatly out of character and she is glad an adult was there to intervene.

The woman told The Sun: "Tina has been pretty brave in stepping in. Tina is only little herself and she was defending my daughter, so I am extremely grateful to her. You can hear in her voice on the video that she is frightened. This is also not like her, and she is a really good person. I have thanked her and would have done the same if it was my house."

Tina was just 16 when she took the role of Sarah-Louise Platt on ITV’s iconic soap back in 1999.

She shares her home with husband Adam Crofts and her two children. She has a little boy named Beau with Adam and also a 15 year old daughter called Scarlett from her time with Corrie co-star Ryan Thomas.

The mum-of-two found love with Adam shortly after her split from Ryan and the happy couple tied the knot on New Year's Eve in 2018.

She starred as Sarah until 2008, when she appeared on Waterloo Road. Tina appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2010, where she finished in fourth place with professional dancer Jared Murillo.

She returned to the ITV soap in 2015 and remains part of one of the most loved families on the cobbles.
