Coronation Street's Kate Ford swooned after her co-star's special update.

The soap star is renowned for her role as Tracy Barlow on the Cobbles. Viewers were shocked last month as the iconic character departed Weatherfield for a new life in Spain after she broke up with Steve McDonald.

Tracy has exited to pursue her romance with new lover Steve Orpington and ex husband Steve has struggled with her departure. Spoilers for next week's episodes have shown Tracy will be referenced again next week as a downcast Steve goes through her social media channels to see pictures of her paragliding over the Med with Tommy.

Away from the screen, Kate is active on her social media channels and enjoys a close friendship with her co-stars. Yesterday marked the birthday of Abi Webster star, Sally Carman.

Sally is in a happy relationship with Tim Metcalfe star, Joe Duttine. Joe took to social media to share a snap of Abi alongside the caption: "Birthday girl."

Kate took to the comments and said: "Love this pic x"

Co-star Sally Dynevor also wished Sally well as she said: "Happy Birthday @sally_carman__ Have a wonderful day xxxx" Claire Sweeney sent a heartfelt message on her Instagram as the Liverpudlian soap star said: "Happy birthday to this beautiful talented lady, one of the nicest people I know."
