ITV GMB's Susanna Reid left stunned over Ant and Dec revelation after final Saturday Night Takeaway

Susanna Reid was left in a state of shock after discovering the truth regarding Ant and Dec's final episode of Saturday Night Takeaway. After bidding farewell to their beloved ITV series, the popular duo left a scene of chaos behind at ITV studios.

And following the iconic last episode, Good Morning Britain's Susanna revealed she was flabbergasted to find "glitter everywhere" within her dressing room and the ITV studio.

The 53-year-old host decided, along with co-star Richard Arnold, they should pick the brain of fellow presenter Andi Peters about the lively finale, considering his debut during the Saturday extravaganza, when he appeared on Monday's show.

Andi, 53, shocked Susanna by disclosing: "Susanna, your dressing room was used by Kaiser Chiefs!" This prompted the host to joke back: "I Predict A Riot", referring to the band's famous 2004 single.

But the revelations didn't stop there - Andi went on to say: "Yes and there almost was one as I was in Laura's [Tobin] dressing room! In your dressing room, Richard, was Ben Foster the goalie, he was in your dressing room!

"It required every single dressing room available at the television centre, even including an adjacent hotel, which provided some extra temporary dressing rooms!"

An intrigued Ed Balls then enquired about his own dressing room, only for Andi to reveal: "Ed, yours was also Kaiser Chiefs! You, Susanna and the green room were all Kaiser Chiefs!"

It comes after Ant and Dec's emotional farewell on their hit ITV series left fans "gutted" as the show aired its final episode.

The beloved presenting stars announced the long-running programme was taking a break, stirring up emotions among viewers who have been loyal since its inception in 2002.

During the two-hour special, Ant and Dec were joined by former stars and revived classic segments, sparking a wave of nostalgia. Fans expressed their sadness on social media, with one stating on X: "Gutted @itvtakeaway is coming to an end. A staple of Saturday night viewing, reports the Mirror.

"Another lamented: "Why am I crying like an absolute baby at the final episode of @antanddec #SaturdayNightTakeaway?! I will really miss the show, as will millions who watch every week! But I really feel like this was a 'final goodbye' and not a 'see you later'!" Others shared their disappointment, with comments such as "I am absolutely gutted," and "I'm sobbing I'm so sad it's ending. " Another fan added: "I am DEVASTATED this is ending. So bittersweet," while another viewer summed up the mood: "And the nation is crying!!!!".

The hosts have expressed their sorrow over the show's conclusion, but they've promised it will make a comeback eventually. The duo admitted that the final episode would be a tear-jerker as they prepared an extended episode to bid farewell to their popular series.
