ITV Good Morning Britain star Ranvir Singh 'screams' at Rishi Sunak before issuing California dig

Viewers tuning into Good Morning Britain today were left 'screaming' at a Rishi Sunak dig dished out by presenter Ranvir Singh. It comes following the worst defeat in Conservative Party history in the 2024 General Election.

Ranvir was presenting the latest from outside Tory HQ as the rain pelted down. Appearing on camera very briefly, Ranvir caught the moment Sunak returned to his office after it was announced that Keir Starmer would be taking over as Prime Minister. She asked the outgoing PM is he "blames himself" for the loss live on TV.

Despite getting no reply from Rishi, she went on to issue a dig at the soon-to-be former Prime Minister. Speaking to hosts Ed Balls and Susanna Reid, Ranvir said: "Look at the weather, its miserable.

"But by the way Rishi Sunak, I've checked the weather in California. Its sunny, its 30 degrees, wink wink." It comes following speculation that Rishi will travel to his home in California to lick his wounds following the political defeat, The Mirror reports.

One X user responded: "[sic] Cackling at ar Ranvir SCREAMING at Rishi Sunak whether he blames himself or not for the result.". (sic) Another said: "No #lorraine or the show either today, but at least Ranvir still got a link to. # GMB."

A third wrote: "Ranvir! Who just 'woke me up' SCREAMING at the top of her lungs to the OUTGOING prime minister if he blamed himself for the #Tory loss! Ranvir, you are such a little angel."
