This Morning fans were stunned as Jon Bon Jovi appeared to 'walk off' the show. Ben Shephard was forced to issue a statement after the star's 'quick exit'.

The rock icon was on the ITV show on Wednesday to promote his latest documentary, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story on Disney Plus. After his chat with presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, he promptly stood up and exited the studio.

Stunned viewers took to X, formerly Twitter to comment. One wrote: "Yikes, Bon Jovi couldn't wait to leave when they finished the interview." Another fan echoed: "Well, Jon Bon Jovi could not get out of there quick enough could he!"

And a third added: "Jon Bon Jovi couldn't have got his a*** out of there quick enough."

After the commercial break, host Ben Shephard explained why the star was in such a rush. Defending the singer, Ben explained: "He's very keen to get going, he's got a very busy day."

Bon Jovi explained the documentary gave a warts and all look into his career. He explained: "The blemishes are all there. You see your life flash before your eyes before you pass away. I don't think I'm dead yet."

When asked about his feelings on reviewing past footage, Bon Jovi shared: "It was emotional, the band got together maybe six months ago and saw a rough cut. It was emotional, there was the highs, there was the lows."

The documentary series will premiere on Hulu in the US on Friday 26th April and will be available to stream on Disney Plus throughout the rest of the world, and on Star Plus in Latin America later this year.
