Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour is finally coming to London this weekend, with sold out shows at Wembley Stadium from Friday, June 21 through to Sunday, June 23. But while for many it'll be the first show by the pop star they've seen, other fans love Taylor so much they've already seen her perform the three-hour show elsewhere.

Lisa Bazley, 26, has already seen The Eras Tour four times, and is a proud Swiftie. "I went to my first Taylor concert in 2011 and have been to all of her tours since then," Lisa told MyLondon.

She managed to secure tickets to see the show in Edinburgh for one night, and then saw Taylor perform at all three of her shows in Liverpool. For Edinburgh and one of the Liverpool shows she had standing tickets, while the other two Liverpool shows were seated tickets.

This has given Lisa lots of experience attending Taylor Swift's concerts, and particularly The Eras Tour. We sat down with the superfan to ask for her top tips for Swifties heading to Wembley this weekend.

Queues

Taylor Swift's shows in London are all sold out, as they have been around the globe since she began performing the Eras Tour in 2023. Therefore, many Swifties are concerned by the potential for massive queues to get into the stadium for those with unallocated standing tickets.

But Lisa says that for the two shows she had floor tickets for, the queues weren't bad - or not there at all. "For most of them we didn't really get there early, like we got there after the doors had opened," Lisa said.

"For Edinburgh, we got there around half-past four and we didn't really have to queue, it was a long walk to get into the stadium but we were straight in." She and her friend even had time to go and grab a bottle of water and some food before heading to the stage.

Lisa said they got to the pit around 40 minutes before the support act, Paramore, came on - but were still not too far back. In Liverpool, Lisa and her sister got to the stadium at around 4pm, but ended up really close to the stage. "We walked in and realised how close we were going to be and we both just burst into tears."

In Liverpool, Lisa said they'd queue for a maximum of around 10 to 15 minutes, but it was well organised and fans moved through into the stadium very easily. So her message is, don't panic.

There are no bad tickets at The Eras Tour, Lisa said. She's seen the show everywhere from almost at the barricade to nosebleeds at the top of Anfield Stadium. When she had standing tickets, Lisa said she was always able to see the show clearly. The Eras Tour stage is very high, at roughly head height for concert goers standing in the pit.

Lisa said: "I'm fairly tall but I had tall people in front of me and I could see clearly all the time. She's on a rising platform that goes up and down a lot - when she's up there it's such a clear view."

And when she had seated tickets, the show takes on a completely different feel. "I was so excited to see it from that point of view, and honestly the visuals on the stage and on the screen - you see so much you don't see from the floor."

She added: "It's like a different show, from a different perspective."

Food and drink

The Eras Tour is a notoriously long show, coming in at almost three and a half hours. And, with doors opening hours before Taylor arrives on stage and support acts, it's a long time to be in one place.

Lisa emphasised the importance of staying hydrated, and making sure you've had enough to eat. "We learned the hard way at the first show of the Eras Tour. My friend actually fainted about halfway through the show because we didn't really drink much because we didn't want to keep going in and out."

At Anfield Stadium, Lisa said they took in water - the stadium allowed fans to bring in 500ml bottles of water, and also handed out water at the end of the concert. There are lots of places where you can buy food and drink within Wembley Stadium - click here for the full list of outlets.

Breaks

One of the biggest questions Swifties have been debating since the first performance of the Eras Tour is when to go to the toilet. Lisa said that when she was standing, people were worried about not being let back in - but a solution was created by taking a photo of yourself in your spot to prove to fellow fans you'd already secured the spot.

But Taylor Swift fans are known for being nice people so Lisa said she didn't see many problems during the shows. "Don't be afraid to eat or go to the toilet if you need to, it's not the end of the world," Lisa said.

And when to go? Lisa says the transitions between eras are often quite long, with dance breaks while Taylor does a costume change and the stage is reset. This is often a popular time for breaks, though she recommends knowing what the last song of the era is and leaving slightly early to skip the queues.

Outfits

What to wear to the Eras Tour is the question on all Swifties' lips this week. Lisa went all out when she went to see Taylor perform, matching up with the friends she was going with to create iconic costumes from different eras.

For her first night in Edinburgh, Lisa and her friend went as Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince. "I was in a dress and he was in a suit, we had sashes and lots of glitter! People kept coming up to us to say we looked really good."

For her second show, she and her sister wore a reputation-themed outfit complete with snakes. But for each of the gigs, Lisa opted for trainers over anything fancier. "I saw a lot of cowboy boots, but a lot of the people wearing them did take them off during the show."

There is also a lot of walking involved around the stadium as well as before and after the show. "I just wanted to be comfy," Lisa said.

Leaving the show

There will be long queues after the show, Lisa warned, but she said in her experience, staff have always been very helpful. "If you're waiting for a bus or a tram like we were in Edinburgh, it's a long queue, I would just enjoy it.

"Everyone else is there waiting, everyone's excited because the show's just finished and they're all talking about it. So just make the most of that, chat to people!"
