Ivybridge allotments raided by thieves

A large number of sheds were broken into and burgled at allotments in Ivybridge overnight. Police said the break-ins took place at The Filham Allotments between 2pm yesterday and 8am today (Sunday, April 28).

The burglars reportedly cut the locks of the sheds before stealing items. Investigating officers are appealing to the public for information on the burglaries.

Police are also urging anyone with an allotment to make sure their valuables are secure or removed from the site.
