Jack Black spotted in Glasgow before Tenacious D gig as he takes 'stoat' around city

American singer and acting star Jack Black was spotted walking around Glasgow ahead of Tenacious D's gig last night.

The 54-year-old was captured walking around the city centre as he stopped for pictures with fans.

Black, who voiced PO in the Kung Fu Panda films, is the lead singer of the rock band which is currently on the European leg of its 'Spicy Meatball' world tour. The star appeared at the OVO Hydro last night, and will play another gig at the venue tonight (May 10).

Fan John McClelland posted to X, formally known as Twitter, that he had spotted the singer 'stoating' about Bothwell street. He wrote: "People of Glasgow and any movie or music fans of Jack black / Tenacious D , Well Jack black is stoating about Glasgow on his jack jones. Got him just off bothwell street. Skadooosh.

Another fan who spotted the star wrote: "Jack Black I’m sorry we hollered at you from across the street but you are the coolest MF ever for coming over. See you at the show tonight."

Tenacious D is an American comedy rock duo formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1994. It was founded by actors Jack Black and Kyle Gass.
