Jack Charles named in Hull FC reserves squad as Jack Walker call made

Jack Charles is one of five changes made by Francis Cummins to the Hull FC reserves squad to take on Leeds Rhinos this Saturday afternoon. The young Black and Whites host the Rhinos at Hull Sports Centre (YPI) at 12pm.

Charles will play at this level for the first time this season, having made eight senior appearances this year. He was selected in the England Academy squad to take on France next month, and saw his new two-year deal confirmed this week.

The half-back is joined in the squad by Liam Tindall, Will Gardiner, Lennon Clark, and Zach Jebson. Making way are Ben Johnson, Sully Medforth, Owen Maull, Leon Stewart, and Joe Thompson.

Elsewhere, Jack Walker is included in the reserves side again with Matty Laidlaw, Kye Armstrong, and Jeylan Hodgson. Several members of the academy are also stepping up.
