Jack Osbourne got some astute advice before heading to participate in Special Forces: World's Toughest Test.

Chatting with PEOPLE exclusively ahead of the release of season 2 of Fox's boot camp reality show, the son of Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne reflected on the sage wisdom his family gave him before leaving to film the series.

"They didn't really get it," Osbourne says of initially telling his family about the show. "They kind of get it, but they hadn't seen the show. So their whole thing is just be careful, don't get hurt. You've got kids."
