Love Island: All Stars spoilers follow.

Jake Cornish has revealed his reason for leaving Love Island: All Stars after just three days in the villa.

It was previously revealed that Jake had chosen to exit the reality dating series, just days after the public chose to pair him up with his ex Liberty Poole. The pair had previously been coupled up during their original appearances on the show, splitting days before the final.

Tonight's episode (January 17) saw Jake gather his fellow Islanders around the firepit and explain his decision to leave. "Listen everyone," he said. "I was here to find love, there's no one really that I've got that connection with... I'm going tonight."

He then pulled Liberty to one side for a final conversation before he left the villa, with the pair able to clear the air one last time.

"I can't just fake things for the sake of being in here," he explained, reassuring an emotional Liberty, adding: "So I thought.. the best thing for me to do is take myself out of the situation. I've had a wicked time."

"It's weird to think that three years ago I was leaving being true to myself and now you're doing the same thing," she replied.

Following his exit, Jake told host Maya Jama that his decision to leave wasn't due to Liberty being in the villa as the pair friends now.

"You're in 100% or nothing," Jake said, explaining that he had realised All Stars wasn't for him and he had to stay true to his feelings.

Elsewhere, Callum Jones asked his ex Molly Smith if she still had feelings for him after he'd seen her spending the day exploring a potential connection with Chris.

Things became tense as the pair spoke about the end of their relationship, struggling to agree on why their relationship had come to an end after three and a half years.

Following the argument Molly made her way up to the villa and shared her first kiss with Chris. Will there be anyway back for the former couple?

Love Island: All Stars launches on Monday, January 15 at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2, ITVX & STV.
