Jamie Carragher's 'legendary' reaction after being filmed at Glastonbury

Jamie Carragher has been branded a "legend" for his reaction to being stopped by a singer in Glastonbury.

The former Liverpool FC player and Sky Sports pundit was spotted multiple times at the Worthy Farm this year partying with his friends and family. However one sighting in particular has fans laughing, as a video was posted of Jamie being stopped by singer Liam Cowan, who has since become known as "ukulele man."

Liam C has gone viral after he played songs he wrote for stars at at Glastonbury, including headliner Dua Lipa. The original video of the interaction with the popstar was seen more than 1 million times on his TikTok page @LiamC , while another video of him playing a song to N-Dubz star Dappy was viewed 2.2 million times.

Liam also posted a video of him stopping and serenading Jamie Carragher which was viewed 1.2 million times. He called Jamie a "top man" and captioned the video: "Jamie Carragher and his mates where a pleasure to play to."

Liam C's fans branded Jamie a "legend" for his reaction, with one person commenting: "Love Jamie Carra what a man." Another added: "Jamie lad true legend."

While a third said: "Legend Carra." Someone else replied: "I love Carra so much." And another added: "Carra what a legend."

The 46-year-old was also pictured outside the Sam Remo bar and completing the Glastonbury 5km fun run, organised by Ravers2Runners and Greenpeace UK. Carragher posted multiple pictures to his Instagram page from over the five days at Glastonbury, including with his wife Nicola and daughter Mia.

He also confirmed that he watched Liverpool-born DJ and producer, Lauren Lo Sung, by posting a picture at her set with the caption: “Scouse massive watching @laurenlosung.”

Since getting back from the festival, Jamie and his wife have celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary, he marked the occasion with a snap from Glastonbury and captioned it: "19yrs married today and still enjoying ourselves to the full @nicolacarragher love you doll face."
