Jamie Devlin: Missing person appeal for teenager last seen in Cookstown

Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a teenager who was last believed to have been in the Cookstown area earlier today.

Jamie Devlin, aged 18, is described as being 5ft 7in in height and of slim build. He has dark brown hair and blue eyes. He is last believed to have been in the Cookstown area at around 1.45pm today, Thursday 11th July.

Jamie has been pictured at Magherafelt bus station, before he travelled to Cookstown bus station arriving at around 12.55pm today, at around 1.45pm today, Thursday 11th July.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “We are appealing to anyone with information in respect of Jamie’s whereabouts to contact us on 101 or via psni.police/report, quoting serial 762 of 11/07/24.

“If you have used public transport today, or drive a taxi – have you seen Jamie? He may also have been walking along rural roads.

“We would ask the local community to check their outbuildings, sheds and any derelict buildings that may be accessible, if it is safe to do so. Jamie could also be camping in the area.”
