Jamie Webster's request as he hopes to create 'something special' at Sefton Park

Jamie Webster wanted to create "something special" at Sefton Park next week, and he's asking for help from his fans.

The singer-songwriter from Liverpool, will be headlining In The Park festival on Friday, July 12, fresh off his Glastonbury Other Stage performance. In the hopes of making the Sefton Park concert extra remarkable, Jamie has asked fans to get involved in the organisation.

The 30-year-old has requested that fans send him pictures of their loved ones, to be shown on a big screen when he plays his song Lovers in the Supermarket. Posting the request to his 260,000 followers on Instagram, Jamie said: "I want to do something special for "Lovers in the Supermarket" next week at Sefton Park.

"Click the link below and upload photos of your loved ones and we'll try and display as many of them as we can on the big screen at Sefton Park. Here is the link." The Sefton Park music extravaganza has a 32,000 daily capacity and brings together live music from various genres for what promises to become a firm fixture in the festival calendar.

Catfish and the Bottlemen will take to the stage on Thursday, July 11 - the biggest headline show of the band’s career to date. Tickets can be purchased here. While Jamie Webster headlines on Friday, July 12. He'll be joined by The Reytons, The Mary Wallopers, Brooke Combe and more to be announced. You can find tickets here.

And on Saturday, July 13, Cream Classical and the 50-piece Kaleidoscope Orchestra take over to deliver a set list curated by dance music duo K-Klass, with live performances from dance music stars including Jocelyn Brown, Innercity, Robin S, Happy Clappers ft Sandra Collins, Angie Brown and Daft Funk.

There will also be performances from DJs including Paul Oakenfold, Armand van Helden, Roger Sanchez, Chicane, Judge Jules, Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago, Seb Fontaine, Jeremy Healy, John Kelly, Andy Mac, Rob Harnetty, Samuel Lamont & Stuart Hodson. Tickets are available here.
