Javelinas Enjoy Girl Scout Cookie Buffet Outside Arizona Home

A squadron of javelinas indulged in a Girl Scout cookie buffet outside a woman’s home in Scottsdale, Arizona, on January 17.

Footage posted to Facebook shows the javelinas snacking on Samoas and Trefoils at around 1 am outside Scottsdale resident Laura Zoldan’s home.

“I was sleeping at around 1 am, when my dog started barking,” Zoldan told Storyful. “I went to check why he was barking, and saw about 15 javelinas, including a few babies, eating the Girl Scout cookies that my neighbor had left on my doorstep and that I had forgotten to take inside.”

According to the Arizona Game and Fish Department, javelinas usually visit homes to find food, water, and shelter. Credit: Laura Zoldan via Storyful
