Jenna Bush Hager revealed she mixed up brother-in-law Craig Coyne's name during his 2019 wedding to her sister, Barbara Bush.

Jenna Bush Hager had a hilarious blunder at her twin sister’s wedding. While discussing revelations from Meg Ryan’s recent Glamour cover story on Today with Hoda & Jenna on Monday, Bush Hager, 42, revealed a past faux pas involving her twin sister, Barbara Pierce Bush, and her brother-in-law, Craig Coyne.

"When it comes to her own dating life, Meg tells Glamour her worst date was back in college,” Bush Hager told co-host Hoda Kotb.

“[Ryan] says a boy took her for a romantic motorcycle ride and dinner,” Kotb, 59, recalled. “And when it was over, she said, ‘Boy I had the best date ever, Phil.’ Except his name wasn’t Phil — it was Bob.”

After discussing the Sleepless in Seattle star's name mishap, Bush Hager admitted to one of her own.

“Oh gosh… I’ve never done that at a date, however — and I’d like to apologize to my brother-in-law for this — but at Barbara’s wedding, I wrote a really beautiful toast,” she began, noting that at the time she was pregnant with son Henry Harold 'Hal' Hager, now 4.

“I’d like to just put it out there, my brain wasn’t firing on all cylinders,” she added.

Bush Hager said during her toast, she said, "Now, welcome to our family Greg," instead of calling him Craig.

“I don’t even know what it was. I’m not sure where it came from because I know him very well,” she said, adding that “they’d already been married once!”

Barbara, 42, first married Coyne in October 2018 so that their grandfather, former President George H.W. Bush — who died a month later at age 94 — could attend, and had a second, larger ceremony in April 2019.

“I’d already given it one time!” Bush Hager reiterated of the toast-gone-wrong. “Half the people there were like, ‘Did she just call him the wrong name?’”

“Did he forgive you?” Kotb asked, to which Bush Hager replied, “I think so.”

Last week on Today with Hoda & Jenna, the co-hosts also talked about the Hager family. More specifically, Bush Hager shared her 2023 holiday card.

In Bush Hager's card photo, which was taken in Martha's Vineyard, husband Henry Hager stands next to his wife, sporting a plaid button-down shirt and shorts. To the couple’s left, their daughters Mila, 10, and Poppy Louise, 8, stand together, while 4-year-old Hal poses in front of his mom.

When the card — which reads, “Happy Holidays” — turns, it reveals a second photo of the family with their cat, Hollywood, and the message: “Or Meowy Christmas!”

"You know I love a holiday card,” the mom of three said during the Wednesday episode. “I have a spreadsheet. I love Excel.”
