Jennifer Hudson to perform at NBA All-Star Game halftime show

Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Jennifer Hudson will perform at the NBA All-Star Game halftime show.

The NBA announced Wednesday that Hudson will take the stage at the event Feb. 18 in Indianapolis.

The NBA All-Star Game is an annual exhibition basketball game featuring 24 of the NBA's star players. This year's event is hosted by the Indiana Pacers and will air on TNT.

Babyface will perform the U.S. national anthem at the game, while Charlotte Cardin will sing the Canadian national anthem.

All-Star Weekend runs Feb. 16-18 in Indianapolis and also features the NBA Rising Stars game and All-Star Celebrity Game on Feb. 16 and the HCBU Classic and the All-Star Saturday Night on Feb. 17.

Coco Jones will perform the U.S. national anthem and "Lift Every Voice" at the HCBU Classic.

In addition, Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Keith Urban, Walker Hayes and Zedd will perform as part of the Crossover Concert Series during All-Star Weekend.

Zedd and T-Pain will perform Feb. 16, with Hayes and Urban to take the stage Feb. 17 and Lil Wayne to perform Feb. 18.

Hudson, Hayes and Lil Wayne will take part in the All-Star Celebrity Game on Feb. 16, along with Anuel AA, AJ McLean, Quincy Isaiah, Lilly Singh, Metta World Peace and other stars.
