Jennifer Lawrence is among Hollywood’s highest earning actresses after raking in a whopping $52 million last year.

‘The Hunger Games’ star banked the main bulk of her fortune due to her starring role as Katniss Everdeen in the dystopian franchise in addition to her appearances in the ‘X Men’ films.

Hot on her heels is Scarlett Johansson, who cashed in on her role as Black Widow in Marvel’s comic book flick ‘The Avengers’ and sci-fi thriller ‘Lucy’.

Hollywood’s funny girl, Melissa McCarthy is apparently laughing all the way to the bank too as she pulled in a considerable $23 million in the last 12 months leading up to June this year.

The stunning figures released by Forbes magazine, have broken down just about every starlet’s pay packet, with Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie and Reese Witherspoon also appearing on the list.

However it wasn’t only Hollywood stars making the big bucks last year. Chinese megastar Bingbing Fan holds her own in fourth place, bringing in hefty $21 million.
