Jennifer Lopez Opts for Black-And-White in Greta Constantine Look for ‘Atlas’ Red Carpet Premiere With Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown and More

Jennifer Lopez attended the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of her new Netflix film “Atlas” on Monday. The actress and singer was joined by co-stars Simu Liu and Sterling K. Brown.

For the red carpet occasion, Lopez pulled out all the stops, fashioning a black-and-white look courtesy of Greta Constantine. The ensemble featured a strapless, cropped white top and a high-waisted black skirt in a mermaid cut. The separate pieces gave Lopez’s look a playful spin on red carpet attire.

As for the rest of her glam look, Lopez’s hair was pulled back into an intricate, slicked back bun. Her makeup featured a soft lip and bold eyes. Lopez completed her look with glittering jewelry, which included a matching set of earrings and a dazzling necklace. The “Atlas” star’s look was curated by stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.

While walking the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of the Netflix film “Atlas,” Lopez posed for photos with co-stars Simu Liu and Sterling K. Brown. Liu, who was joined by partner Allison Hsu, fashioned an off-white suit with dark shoes and layers of necklaces.

For his look, Oscar-nominated actor Sterling K. Brown opted for a different end of the color spectrum. Brown wore a sky blue suit with cashmere herringbone weave knit shirt courtesy of Italian luxury fashion brand Brioni. He accessorized with a watch and a delicate necklace. The actor paired his monochrome sartorial statement with a pair of neutral, suede beige shoes.

Prior to the event, Lopez made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to promote the film. For her late-night talk show look, Lopez wore a knit halter maxidress in a shade of cream with draped fabric at the neckline and a plunging back. While chatting with the eponymous host, Lopez opened up about her admiration for another multi-hyphenate star: Barbra Streisand.

“My mom grew up loving Barbra Streisand. So, she passed that on to me and the love of musicals and kind of, all that stuff,” Lopez said. The actress and singer went on to say that when she was starting out in Hollywood, she had the opportunity to meet Streisand. “I was just like, ‘Oh my god. I love you,'” Lopez said.

She even revealed the detail that Streisand wanted to see the engagement ring Ben Affleck gave Lopez at the time of their first engagement in the early aughts. Decades later, Lopez said meeting Streisand was “surreal” and reflected on the advice the “Funny Girl” Oscar-winner gave her — to always search for five memorable scenes in a script.

Lopez stars in the Netflix film “Atlas,” which follows Agent Atlas Shepherd as she tries to hunt down the A.I. soldier determined to end humanity. “Atlas” hits Netflix May 24.
