Jennifer Lopez fans have labelled her a “goddess” after she stripped off in her new music video.

The singer and actress, 51, shows off her body in nothing but a huge pair of wings in the video for In The Morning.

The video shows the star transformed into mythical creatures such as a mermaid and an angel. In one scene she is nude other than her large white angel wings, and protects her modesty with her arms.

Other scenes show her singing while long violet hair billows behind her and staring down the camera lens while in a glamorous form-fitting white dress with her hair in a blonde bob.

Lopez said in the caption that she was “soooo excited” to be sharing it with her fans.

She said the track was “full of symbolism about a dark one-sided relationship and the realisation that you can’t change anyone else... you can only change yourself!!!”

“Grow your own wings and walk away from anyone or anything that doesn’t truly value all you have to offer,” said the star, who is in a relationship with former professional baseball star Alex Rodriguez.

She went into more detail in a teaser video, saying: “This girl kind of falls into a relationship and she is sinking in this water so she grows a mermaid tail.

“And then little by little she starts growing her own wings just to be able to walk away from the relationship."

Fans were impressed, with many calling Lopez “a queen”, “legendary” and “a goddess” on social media.

One person posted on Instagram: “This is everything I have learned from you and am so inspired by everything you stand for and everything you have taught me!!!”
