Jennifer Lopez's Impeccably Draped Gown Had the Highest Slit and a Built-in Cape
And she was dripping in diamonds.
Jennifer Lopez looked like a Grecian goddess last night, slipping into an intricately ruched and draped Monique Lhuillier gown for an event that celebrated her roots as a Latina. The superstar triple-threat wore a tan gown that included a dramatic cape trimmed with a shimmering crystal choker. The gown's corset bodice featured delicate pleats, and the long, floor-skimming skirt included a dramatic slit that went all the way up her leg. Lopez showed off the gown on Instagram, including a close-up look at her Suzanne Kalan jewelry and deep side-parted caramel hair.
Lopez also tagged her glam squad in the post, including her longtime makeup artist, Scott Barnes, and her stylists, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. Lopez's glam included her signature bronzed skin, a sultry smoky eye, and a light, rosy lip gloss.

Jennifer Lopez was honored with the Premio Orgullo award, which recognized her "unwavering advocacy for Latino causes," according to Evoke. In her acceptance speech, she called the award "humbling," saying, "Thank you. It celebrates bringing pride to our community — that is a very humbling premise for me. Thank you so much, it's not only a tremendous honor, but also a responsibility that I don't take lightly."
According to its official website, the Hispanic Federation is a nonprofit membership and advocacy organization that dates back to 1990. Its mission includes "empowering and advancing the Hispanic community, with a focus on low-income, marginalized, and immigrant Latinos."

While last night's major fashion moment may be one of her best, Lopez is set to co-chair this year's Met Gala — and she still doesn't have an outfit, according to Hola. In a video posted to Vogue’s Instagram account, Lopez is surrounded by different mannequins and says, "I have a few different sketches. I’m still deciding. I’m also one of those people who chooses at the last minute." This year, Lopez's fellow co-chairs include Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, and Zendaya.
