Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita Bring In Halloween with a Roar as Dinosaurs with Sons Beckett and Sully
The spouses will celebrate son Sully's first birthday later this month
Jesse Tyler Ferguson's bunch had a fun-filled, ferocious Halloween.
The Modern Family alum, 48, and husband Justin Mikita, 38, got into some big dinosaur costumes for the holiday, matching sons Sullivan "Sully" Louis, 11 months, and Beckett Mercer, 3.
Little Sully's costume adorably shows the toddler cracking out of an egg, a nod to it being his very first Halloween.
"Tricked! happy & safe Halloween 🎃," they captioned the set of shots.

Speaking with PEOPLE about his partnership with Enfamil in support of Enfamil Enspire in April, the actor opened up about how important the relationship he and Mikita share with their surrogate, who carried both of their boys, is to them.
"We had a wonderful surrogate who carried both Beckett and Sullivan," he told PEOPLE. "We are so grateful for her and her family. We became friends with her and her husband."
While their feeding journeys are similar, the couple has noticed the differences between Beckett's infancy — which was during the stay-at-home days of the pandemic — and Sully's.
"We were hands-on all this time, kind of staring at him because we were all stuck together. Now because Beckett is very active and the world sort of come back, I'm working, and Justin is working, and we're using our in-laws and parents more to help us out, when before everyone sort of had to stay away," he explained.
While it's "completely different," the screen and stage star said, "I enjoy doing it this way more."
"I definitely liked having the one-on-one time with Beckett, but I think doing it communally with a family and in a place where you can go out and enjoy the world, is a huge help."
Ferguson and Mikita have been going strong since their wedding in July 2013.
After their first anniversary together, Ferguson expressed their desire to start a family.
"We are very excited to start a family," the actor told PEOPLE. "We don't have any sort of timeline right now. When you have to look for alternate means, there's a little more planning that has to go into that, so who knows. When we start the process it might still be a three-year ordeal. We'll see what happens!"
