Jessica Alba Favors Romantic Embellishments in Zimmermann Corset Dress Alongside Princess Beatrice in Polka Dots at Spotify Party in Cannes

Princess Beatrice and Jessica Alba attended Spotify’s intimate evening of music and culture in Cannes on Monday. The event featured a performance by John Legend, as well as appearances by author Jay Shetty and chief public affairs officer for Spotify Dustee Jenkins, among others.

For the event, Alba and Princess Beatrice showcased their take on transitional spring to summertime dressing with midi dresses. Princess Beatrice opted for a polka dot midi shirtdress in silk courtesy of Crida Milano. She added a belt by Sezane to her look for a defined waist.

The British royal family member also fashioned slingback black-and-white ballerina shoes from the brand Pretty Ballerinas. Princess Beatrice carried a shoulder bag by Mark Cross to complete her look.

As for Alba, the actress fashioned a monochrome look, wearing a midi corset dress courtesy of Zimmermann. The dress is from the fashion label’s spring 2024 collection and features flower trims on the thin shoulder straps, which cascaded down Alba’s back.

The dress also featured exposed boning on the bodice, accentuating the corset design. Alba paired the dress with casual platform shoes with black strapping and a small bag. The actress and Honest Company cofounder tossed her hair into a bun with a few wisps to frame her face.

While attending the event, Princess Beatrice and Alba posed for photos with one another and with other guests. Both the actress and the royal’s respective apparel perfectly highlighted seasonal transitional dressing, demonstrating their proclivity for the midi dress while adding their own individual spin on the silhouette.

Along with their trips to Cannes, both Princess Beatrice and Alba have been busy with their schedules. Alba is currently promoting her forthcoming Netflix film “Trigger Warning,” which hits the streamer on June 21. Princess Beatrice has attended a few royal and non-royal events, including a garden party at Buckingham Palace alongside her sister, Princess Eugenie.
