Jessica Biel Gets Stuck on Plane Unable to Land Amid ‘Crazy Snow Storm,' Kills Times in the Most Relatable Way

Jessica Biel is making the most of a nightmare travel day.

In a TikTok captioned “Airplane Chronicles Part 1,” the actress, 41, documented her experience being stuck on an airplane that was unable to land in its destination due to extreme weather.

“I am currently on a short flight and we cannot land because of this crazy snow storm,” she says in the clip shared on Wednesday. “It’s making the runway inhospitable to land.”

As she waits for an update, she reveals the one thing that’s tiding her over while the plane continues to circle.

“Luckily, I brought all my favorite snacks — and I brought extra,” she says and proceeds to show off some pistachios, a fruit bar, a clementine and more while saying “favorite” for each as she holds them up.

The mom of two adds that while she does regret not packing a lunch, she’s happy she remembered to pack “triple of each” snack before she left in the morning.

“And just for good measure, in case it gets really, really desperate up here...” she says as she holds up a purple box labeled Mini Karaoke Machine. “How much would this plane literally want to kill me if I pulled out this microphone to start karaoke with them. Should I try it?”

Biel concludes the video with a series of reminders: “Bring your own lunch, bring your snacks on the plane.”

She dedicated the video to her famous friend, Mindy Kaling, in reference to The Mindy Project star’s plane salad that she shared on Instagram in November. Kaling revealed the salad was inspired by Biel from an instance when they were on the same flight together over a decade ago and Biel remembered to pack her own lunch.

“I remembered this one time, maybe like 14 years ago, when I sat next to @jessicabiel on a flight. An hour in, she pulled out this container from her tote bag,” Kaling recalled. “It had the most delicious looking homemade salad in it that was definitely a better option than whatever I was eating. I always wanted to ask her what the recipe was!”

Referencing that memory, Biel gave a shout-out to Kaling in her TikTok and ended it with, “Love you Mindy.”

In a final update from her travel day, Biel revealed that her “epic journey” of being stuck on the plane was still going on.

“Well this epic journey continues,” she said in the video. “We’re now sitting in an outpost of the Salt Lake City airport, not allowed to get off, trying to re-fuel and actually get back up in the air. And now, I’m really pissed I didn’t bring a lunch.”

She continues: “Okay the plot thickens. We are going to take back off and see if the wind has calmed down and if they have cleared the ice off the runway. See if it’s possible to land without getting blown out of the sky. If not, come back to L.A.”

The actress ends the video on a happy note: “We finally landed. We made it. Wow, that was nuts. Hope everybody has safe travels wherever they’re off to.”
