Carr, who was hosting the quiz show, opened the programme with a quip about Prince Andrew “stepping down from royal duties to spend more time with his daughters, instead of other people’s daughters”.
Virginia Guiffre alleged she was forced to sleep with the Duke of York after meeting him in Tramp nightclub in 2001, where she said he was "profusely sweating" on the dance floor.
Quiz show panellists Noel Fielding and Richard Ayoade joked about the Prince’s claim that he cannot sweat because of a medical condition.
Ayoade said: “I’ve realised the Prince Andrew thing is basically a very posh version of Shaggy’s ‘It Wasn’t Me’. Saw you dripping on the dance floor. I cannot sweat.”
Referencing Prince Andrew’s claim that he was actually in Pizza Express in Woking on the night Guiffre was in Tramp nightclub, Fielding added: “It wasn’t sweat, it was the grease from the garlic dough balls.”
In November, Charlie’s Angels writer-director Elizabeth Banks surprised her fellow Graham Norton Show guests when she made a joke about Prince Andrew’s hand appearing in one of her childhood photographs.
